Clunnie Mor
Clunnie Mor is in Coylumbridge, just outside Aviemore in the Cairngorms. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps when everyone's trying to get out in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac. There's an enclosed garden and patio area. You get a hot tub and a sauna. The sauna is one of those infrared ones with coloured lights, which is a bit different.
Aviemore village is less than half a mile away. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat. The local pub does food.
You're right in the Cairngorms National Park. For walking, you've got the Cairngorms themselves and loads of lower level paths. For cycling, there are the mountain bike trails at Glenmore.
Loch Morlich is about ten minutes drive. It's got a beach and you can do water sports there. In winter, the ski centre is up the road from there.
The Highland Wildlife Park is about a fifteen minute drive towards Kincraig. You can see reindeer in Glenmore, about five miles away, but they roam freely so spotting them isn't guaranteed.
The Strathspey Steam Railway runs from Aviemore. Boat of Garten golf course is nearby. There's fishing on the Rothiemurchus estate.
For facilities, it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
