Cairnie View is in Aviemore, up near the top end of town. It's a detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac. The back garden looks straight out at the Cairngorms, which is nice.
It sleeps seven, across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's a family house, nothing too fancy. The stairs are a standard house staircase.
You can walk into the centre of Aviemore in about fifteen minutes. There's a supermarket, shops, cafés, and places to eat. There's a pub a bit further on. If you're coming for the ski-ing, the road up to the Cairngorm Mountain resort starts just at the edge of town.
The house is right in the Cairngorms National Park. You can get straight onto walking trails from here. For bigger walks, the Speyside Way long-distance path starts in Aviemore. There's a golf course nearby. The Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie is about a ten minute drive. The Landmark Forest Adventure Park in Carrbridge is about fifteen minutes away.
For facilities: it's got parking on the drive, an enclosed garden with a barbecue, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
