1 Dalbuaick Farm Cottage is near Carrbridge, in the Cairngorms. It's on our working farm, so there are sheep and cows in the fields around the cottage. That's part of the deal.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. It's been done up to a high standard. You get a wood burner in the living room, a big kitchen table, and an enclosed garden.
There are a couple of extras. There's a separate games room with a table tennis table. And there's a hot tub outside.
Carrbridge village is about a mile away. It has a pub and the usual things. Aviemore is about eleven miles. That's where you'll find supermarkets, more restaurants, and things like the leisure centre. They're both in the Cairngorms National Park.
If you're here for the outdoors, it's a good spot. You're close to walking, cycling, and the Speyside Way. In winter, the Cairngorm ski area is nearby. In summer, you've got places like Loch Morlich for water sports. The Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie is about a twenty-minute drive. The Landmark adventure park is just outside Carrbridge.
Facilities: everything's included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels. There's parking right outside. We can take up to two dogs, but they must be kept on a lead outside because of the livestock.
