1 Dalbuaick Farm Cottage
This is 1 Dalbuaick Farm Cottage, on our farm near Carrbridge. It's a proper Highland farm cottage, detached, so it's just you out here. You'll see the sheep and cattle in the fields around the garden.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's a twin bedroom and a shower room downstairs. Upstairs are two king size rooms sharing a family bathroom. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
The living room has a wood burner, which we supply logs for. The kitchen table seats everyone. Outside, the garden is fully enclosed, which is good because it's a working farm. Dogs are welcome, but they need to be kept on a lead when outside the cottage garden, because of the livestock.
There's a separate games room with a table tennis table. And there's a hot tub in the garden.
Carrbridge village is about a mile away for basics. Aviemore is about eleven miles, for bigger shops, cafes, and that sort of thing. You're right in the Cairngorms National Park here. For walking, you're on the doorstep of the Speyside Way and lots of other trails.
In the area, within about half an hour, you've got the Cairngorm Mountain Funicular Railway, the Reindeer Centre, Loch Morlich for water sports, and the Highland Wildlife Park near Kingussie. The coast at Moray is about an hour's drive.
Included facilities: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and highchair if needed, and all bedding and towels. It's a 5 Star rated place, so everything should be in good order for you.
