West End Cottage is right in the middle of Carrbridge village. It’s handy for everything. You’re basically a minute’s walk from the shop and the pubs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating. It’s clean and comfortable, no frills.
The garden is nice. It’s enclosed, so it’s safe if you bring a dog. You can sit out there and watch the birds.
There’s a wood burner for the colder nights. It warms the place up well. You’ve got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
Outside, the famous old packhorse bridge is just down the road. You can start a walk along the River Dulnain from your doorstep.
The Landmark Forest Adventure Park is a five minute walk away. It’s good for kids, especially if the weather isn’t great.
Aviemore is about ten minutes’ drive. That’s where you’ll find the main shops, the Cairngorms National Park stuff, and the ski slopes in winter. Loch Morlich and Loch Insh are close by for watersports.
If you want to go further, the Highland Wildlife Park is about half an hour south, towards Kingussie. The Moray coast, with its beaches and fishing villages, is under an hour’s drive north.
