Cotterton Beag

This place is Cotterton Beag in Duackbridge. It's in the Cairngorms.

The house sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That means no stairs to worry about. It's got a four star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's quite spacious inside.

The garden is enclosed. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights. All the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.

You're about half a mile from the local shop and pub in Nethy Bridge. The village is quiet. You're right in the Cairngorms National Park, so the walking and cycling from the doorstep is the main thing. The River Nethy runs through, good for a stroll.

If you want to head out, Grantown-on-Spey is about ten minutes by car. Loch Morlich is within half an hour, that's where you go for the beach and watersports. The Cairngorm Mountain ski centre is up that way too. In winter you can ski, in summer you can take the funicular railway up the mountain for the views.

The RSPB reserve at Abernethy Forest is nearby for birdwatching. There are several golf courses around, including one at Nethy Bridge.

We accept up to two dogs. There's parking right at the house.
