Wester Laggan Cottage

Wester Laggan Cottage is on our farm in Dulnain Bridge. It's a detached, old stone cottage, so the walls are thick and the rooms feel solid. It's up a bit of a slope, which means the view from the front is good. You look right out across the valley to the Cairngorm mountains.

It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.

The cottage is on a working farm. You'll see us going about our business with the livestock. If you're not used to farms, there will be the usual noises and smells. Please close all gates.

You're in the Cairngorms National Park here. The walking is the main thing. You can step out the door and be on a path. For more planned walks, the Cairngorms National Park Authority site has good information. Grantown-on-Spey is about three miles away for shops and cafes. Dulnain Bridge has a pub and a restaurant.

Within about half an hour's drive you've got a lot. Aviemore for ski-ing or mountain biking in the winter. The Strathspey Steam Railway starts at Aviemore too. The Highland Wildlife Park is near Kincraig. For a longer day out, Inverness is under an hour away.

Facilities wise: it has a woodburning stove, which we supply some logs for. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is right outside. Sorry, no pets.
