19 South Street
This is 19 South Street, in Grantown on Spey. It's a semi-detached cottage, set back from the green in the middle of town. Most things are a walk away.
It sleeps five across two bedrooms. There's one bathroom downstairs and a shower room upstairs. The stairs are an old, open spiral staircase. They're steep. You need to be careful on them.
There are two wood burners, one in the kitchen diner and one in the living room. The living room has French doors out to the garden. The garden is lawned, it's not huge but it's yours. You can park one car on site.
Grantown itself has shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and places to eat, all about 200 yards from the door. There's an 18-hole golf course here. In winter, you're about halfway between the Cairngorms and the Lecht for skiing.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi.
It's a good spot for getting out. You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Aviemore is about 15 minutes drive. For castles and history, Castle Campbell at Dollar is roughly 45 minutes, and Balmoral is just under an hour.
