Knocknahighle
Knocknahighle is a detached cottage on Wester Lethendry Farm, near Cromdale. It's down its own track, about five miles from Grantown-on-Spey. The views look straight down Strathspey valley towards the Hills of Cromdale.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating. The ground floor is accessible for a wheelchair, but there's a step at the front door. Inside, everything is level. The stairs to the bedrooms are normal, not particularly steep.
You come into a vestibule with space for boots and coats. The kitchen has patio doors out to a large deck. The living room has a wood burner and a corner sofa. The deck has garden furniture. The garden is enclosed.
The farm itself has some historic monuments, like Lethendry Tower, which you can walk to. You'll see wildlife from the cottage windows, and red deer are often in the fields. You're right in the Cairngorms National Park, so walking, cycling, and wildlife are all on the doorstep. In winter, the skiing and snowshoeing areas are about a 30 minute drive.
Grantown-on-Spey is five miles away. It has shops, pubs, and places to eat. The River Spey is famous for fishing. There are several golf courses nearby. Many whisky distilleries are within a 30 minute drive along Speyside.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger. On site parking. There's a highchair and stairgate if you need them. No pets.
