Knocknahighle
Knocknahighle is in Lethendry, near Grantown-on-Spey. It's a detached cottage down its own track on Wester Lethendry Farm. You're in the Cairngorms National Park here.
It sleeps six. There's three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well set-up. The kitchen is light, with patio doors onto a big deck. The living room has a wood burner and the sofa looks out down the valley. The views are the main thing. You can sit out on the deck in the evening and just look.
The track up to it is fine for normal cars. There's parking right by the cottage. The garden is fully enclosed. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes wildlife like red deer around. There are some old castle ruins on the farm land you can walk to.
Grantown-on-Spey is about five miles away. That's where the shops, banks, and a few places to eat are. The River Spey is close if you're interested in fishing.
You're right in the Cairngorms for walking or cycling. In winter, you're about half an hour's drive from the ski lifts at Cairngorm Mountain. Aviemore is about a 20-minute drive, and there are lots of whisky distilleries down the Spey valley.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, and towels and bedding are included. There's a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. It has an electric vehicle charger. The entrance is level and there's a ground floor shower room, so it's suitable for limited mobility.
