No. 8 is a first-floor apartment in Aviemore. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which is handy.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so everything is in good order. The living area is open plan with a kitchen at one end. There's a Juliet balcony off it, so you can get some air in. The main bedroom has its own ensuite.
You're right in the town. There's a supermarket, bike hire, and a couple of takeaways all within a couple of minutes' walk. You can park on site.
It's a good base for the Cairngorms. In summer, you've got walking and cycling from the door. Loch Morlich is about ten minutes up the road for kayaking or a swim. The Cairngorms National Park site has all the details on trails and wildlife.
In winter, it's about twenty minutes to the Cairngorm Mountain ski area. The apartment has a locked storage cupboard for skis or bikes.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
For wider trips, you're about half an hour from some of the Speyside whisky distilleries. The Malt Whisky Trail website has a map. Inverness is around forty minutes by car.
