Rowlands
Rowlands is a detached house in Aviemore. It's on a residential street, a five minute walk from the high street.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. Everything works.
The layout is open plan downstairs, which is good for a group. The garden is fully enclosed, which is useful.
You can bring two dogs. There's on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger. There's secure storage in the garden for bikes or skis.
Aviemore is the main town here. You've got supermarkets, a couple of pubs, places to eat. It's a proper outdoors town. In winter, you drive up to the Cairngorm Mountain ski area, which is about fifteen minutes away. In summer, everyone's walking or cycling.
The Craigellachie Nature Reserve starts at the edge of town. You can walk into Rothiemurchus Forest from there. The Speyside Way runs through if you want a longer walk.
Within half an hour's drive you've got the Highland Wildlife Park and Landmark Forest Adventure Park for kids. The River Spey is famous for fishing. There's golf at Boat of Garten.
Facilities: everything listed is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
