Delmhor No4
Delmhor No4 is in Inverdruie. That's the little area just outside Aviemore, on the road that goes up to the Cairngorm ski centre.
It's a detached bungalow. Sleeps six in three bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. We had it fully refurbished a few years back.
The layout is open plan. There's a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings. Everything you'd expect is there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a garden and a patio area. The hot tub is under a cover, so you can use it even if the weather's not great. You can park right next to the house.
It's a dog-friendly place, you can bring up to two.
You can walk into Aviemore town centre from here. The Cairngorms National Park is right on your doorstep, and the Rothiemurchus Estate is practically next door for walks and outdoor stuff. The road to the Cairngorm Mountain ski centre starts just there.
In the local area, you've got golf, fishing, and horse riding nearby. If you drive for half an hour you can get to places like Loch an Eilean, or further into the mountains. For more detailed planning, the National Trust for Scotland Cairngorms page is useful.
