Balnagowan Mill
Balnagowan Mill is in Nethy Bridge, in the Cairngorms. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That makes it good for groups with mixed ages or mobility. It sleeps ten people, in five bedrooms. Four of those are bathrooms, three are en-suites. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining, lounge. It leads through to a sunroom which has patio doors straight out to the garden. The garden is large and fully enclosed. There's a BBQ hut out there that fits ten, so you can use it in any weather. It's got a proper roof and everything.
There's a small stream at the bottom of the garden with a little bridge over it. It's usually dry. We keep some mountain bikes and helmets in the shed for guests to use. There are also some outdoor games like badminton.
You can bring up to two dogs. The village shop, a cafe, and a pub are a short walk away. For walking or cycling, you're right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Aviemore is about a fifteen minute drive for more shops, the ski centre, or the mountain railway. The coast at Spey Bay is under half an hour.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for several cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
