The Bothy At Willowbank Grantown on Spey

The Bothy is behind our main house, Willowbank, in Grantown on Spey. It's detached, so you've got your own space. You can park right next to it.

It's a one-bedroom place, just for two people. I'd call it cosy. Everything's on one level, which is handy. The bathroom is a good size, with a proper walk-in shower. The bed is a double.

You're sort of tucked away here, but it's only a five-minute walk to the high street. There are a few pubs, some shops, and places to eat. It's quiet at night.

You're right in the Cairngorms National Park. The river Spey is just down the lane. Good for a walk, or if you're into fishing. For a proper hill walk or a drive, you're well placed. Aviemore is about 20 minutes by car. The funicular railway up Cairn Gorm is roughly half an hour's drive.

If you like whisky, you're in the right spot. There are dozens of distilleries around here. Lots do tours. The Speyside Way walking path goes through the village as well.

Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a small kitchen with what you'd need. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
