Rockenhayne Farmstead - The Retreat
Rockenhayne Farmstead - The Retreat is in a quiet spot just outside Branscombe, about a mile from the main coast road. It's a detached property, one of a few on the same site. You get your own garden and deck.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was designed by the owner to be accessible, so there are wider doorways, level thresholds and wet rooms with grab rails. Hoists and adjustable beds are available for hire. The place is also built to be eco-friendly. It has solar panels, underfloor heating, and spring water.
The living space is open plan with big folding doors that open onto the deck. The main bedroom has doors to the deck as well. There's a fenced lawn for dogs.
You're about a ten-minute drive from Branscombe village. Sidmouth is about fifteen minutes away. The coast path is easily reached. The Donkey Sanctuary is a ten-minute drive.
For a day out, Lyme Regis is just over twenty minutes away. Exeter is about forty minutes. You're well placed for the East Devon coast.
Facilities include a wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.
