You’re about a ten minute walk from the town centre and the beach. The garden is tiered, so it's on a bit of a slope but it gets the sun.
The stairs are typical cottage stairs. Narrower and steeper than a modern house.
One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Sidmouth itself is a nice town with all the usual shops and cafes. The beach is good for a proper swim. The South West Coast Path runs right through it.
If you want to go further afield, the whole of the Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep. Beer is a few miles along the coast, Exeter is about half an hour’s drive inland.
For facilities, it has Wi-Fi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are provided. The local area has golf, fishing, and horse riding if that’s your thing.
