It's a shepherd's hut in Bowd. There's a farm shop and cafe on the same site, which is handy. You're basically in their field, so the view is just countryside looking out towards Woodbury Common.
It sleeps two, in one bed. The bed is against a wall, so you have to climb in from one side. The hut has a small table, chairs, a microwave, kettle, toaster and a little fridge. There's a bowl for washing up. The shower and toilet are in a separate block, just a short walk across the yard.
Outside, there's a charcoal firepit with a grill and a picnic bench. The farm shop sells meat, burgers, charcoal, all that stuff. You can get basics and cakes there.
Sidmouth is about five minutes away by car. It's a Regency town with a pebble beach. The South West Coast Path is on the doorstep. The whole area is Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of it is National Trust.
Within half an hour you can drive to Exmouth, or head inland onto the edge of Dartmoor. Honiton is about fifteen minutes away.
Facilities: it's all included – bedding, towels, electricity. There's parking right there. No pets. It's glamping, so it's simple.
