Number One is a bungalow in Foxhole, near St Austell. It's detached, so no one's on the other side of the walls. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other has two singles. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything works.
The living room has a TV. The kitchen has what you need. There's a separate dining room and doors out to a deck with some seating. It's a quiet spot. You can hear the birds.
For supplies, Foxhole has a shop and a post office. St Austell town is about a ten minute drive. That's where the main supermarkets are, plus the train station if you're coming by rail or fancy a trip somewhere.
The coast is close. Porthpean Beach is about ten minutes by car. It's a sheltered cove, good for swimming. Charlestown harbour, with the tall ships, is about fifteen minutes away. You can walk the coast path from there.
The big attractions are nearby too. The Eden Project is maybe a twenty minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about the same. Both are worth a visit. You're well placed for the Roseland Peninsula as well, places like Mevagissey and Veryan.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are provided, and there's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: National Trust Cornwall and the South West Coast Path.
