Knipe Point is just south of the historical coastal town of Scarborough, and you are only a short stroll away from the golden sands of Cayton beach following the steps down from the cliff top. The Cleveland Way passes by the doorstep, taking you along the coast and then inland into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Stepping out through the glass doors, the patio offers an ideal vantage point, looking down over the headland and out to sea whilst basking in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped and has a small dining table and stools, or you can use the drop leaf dining table in the living room for meals together. There are two bedrooms both with double beds, making this ideal for two couples staying together as well as friends or family, both have large, mirrored wardrobes for all of your belongings. The property is completed by a family bathroom. Your well-behaved dog is welcome to join you as this is a great destination for walking and many of the cafés and pubs are dog friendly. Please be mindful that the garden is not enclosed, which has benefits as you often see wildlife passing the patio.
Nearby there is lots to see and do, including many beautiful bays and beaches, such as Cayton Bay and Filey with over 5 miles of golden sand, as well as Scarborough’s North and South Bays, as well as Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. Visit Scarborough with its Sea Life centre, open air theatre, Peasholm Park, and Alpamare Water Park and Spa. For nature lovers you have Bempton Cliffs RSPB bird centre, with nesting puffins and gannets. Flamborough Head is beautiful with dramatic white cliffs, seals and an iconic lighthouse. The stately homes of Sewerby Hall or Castle Howard are ideal for a day out. Explore the nearby North York Moors National Park - the nearby village of Thornton-le-Dale is a great spot to begin from, where you can enjoy an ice cream before venturing out on one of the many walking trails onto the moors.
