Peris Lodge
This is Peris Lodge. It’s a detached lodge, modern build, just outside Caernarfon. You can walk into town from here, which is useful.
It’s got one main bedroom with a king-size bed, and there’s a sofa bed in the lounge area for an extra person, so it sleeps three. Everything’s on one level, open plan. The kitchen’s got what you need, including a dishwasher. There’s a shower, no bath.
The main thing out the back is a decked area with a private hot tub. You look out onto a bit of greenery. It’s not a huge garden, but it’s yours.
It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-finished. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside.
You can bring one dog.
Caernarfon itself is a ten-minute walk. The castle is the big draw there. It’s a Cadw site, so you can look that up for opening times. There’s a waterfront, pubs, shops, the usual.
You’re right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The National Park website has walking routes and all that. Llanberis is about a fifteen-minute drive. That’s where you get the Snowdon Mountain Railway and access to the main paths up the mountain.
