Y Potel Inc
This is Y Potel Inc. It’s a stone cottage from the 1700s, detached, so you’ve got it to yourselves. The name means ‘The Ink Pot’ in Welsh.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after. There are two wood-burning stoves and underfloor heating downstairs. The beams are original.
Outside, there’s an enclosed garden with a hot tub. It looks out over fields and woods. You’re also welcome to walk around the farm’s 75 acres. There’s parking right there.
The cottage is near Dwyran on Anglesey. For a walk, you can pick up the Anglesey Coastal Path less than a mile away. The nearest shop is about two miles.
In about half an hour you can drive to some good beaches, like Newborough. Beaumaris has its castle, which is an English Heritage site. Plas Newydd, a National Trust house, is close by as well. For boat trips or fishing, the Menai Strait is right there.
Snowdonia is over the bridge, maybe a 40 minute drive depending on traffic. The Snowdonia National Park website has walking routes and parking info.
Inside, it’s got the things you’d expect: WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
