Y Ddol
This is Y Ddol, on our farm just outside Pont Rug. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level. You get the garden to yourselves. It looks out over fields towards the mountains.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything you need is there.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and hear tractors sometimes. It's peaceful.
For location, you're right between Snowdonia and the coast. Caernarfon is about ten minutes' drive. The castle is worth seeing. Llanberis is maybe fifteen minutes away. That's where you get the train up Snowdon, if you don't fancy the walk. The Welsh Slate Museum is there too.
The Llyn Peninsula beaches, like Dinas Dinlle, are roughly twenty minutes by car. Anglesey is about half an hour.
If you've got energy to burn, Zip World in Bethesda is probably twenty-five minutes away. The Snowdonia National Park website has good information for walking.
There's a shop, a garage, and a good Indian takeaway about a mile down the road in Llanrug.
The place has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
