Y Ddol is in Pontrug, just north of Caernarfon. It's a detached bungalow on a working farm. The views are good, over fields towards the mountains.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. The garden is enclosed.
You're a couple of minutes' drive from Caernarfon town. The castle is there, it's a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Welsh Highland Railway starts there too, it goes to Beddgelert and Porthmadog.
Llanberis is about five miles away. That's where you get the Snowdon Mountain Railway up the mountain. The slate museum there is also a World Heritage site now. Zip World is in the area too, if that's your sort of thing.
You're well placed for the coast. The Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey are both within half an hour. The Snowdonia National Park starts on your doorstep for walking.
There's a shop, garage, and an Indian restaurant about a mile away. They do takeaway.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. There's parking on site. No pets allowed.
