Hen Stabl

This is Hen Stabl. It's on our farm, about two miles outside Caernarfon. The cottages were barns originally, we converted them a while back. You're on a working farm, so you'll see the animals about.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, everything works. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids. You can park right outside.

You've got the basics: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.

Caernarfon town centre is a short drive. The castle is the big thing there, it's massive. You can spend a good few hours looking around. There are shops and places to eat.

For getting out, you're in a good spot. Snowdon and Llanberis are about a 20 minute drive. You can get the mountain railway up from there. The Menai Strait and Anglesey are just over the bridge. There are some good sandy beaches on the island, like Newborough, which is probably half an hour away.

If you're after something different, Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry and Surf Snowdonia in Dolgarrog are both within half an hour's drive. They're popular.
