This is Bryn Menai, in Seion just outside Bangor. It's one of three cottages converted from old farm buildings. You get your own patio and garden, and the views are really nice. You can see Snowdonia and Anglesey.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The living area is open plan.
The location is good. Bangor is about two miles away for shops. You're a short drive from the bridges over to Anglesey. The beaches over there, like Trearddur Bay, are great. National Trust Anglesey looks after a lot of the coastline. Beaumaris is worth a visit for the castle.
Caernarfon is about four miles the other way. The castle is the main thing there. The Welsh Highland Railway goes from the harbour into Snowdonia. Llanberis is about eight miles away, at the foot of Snowdon. You can get the mountain railway up from there if you don't fancy the walk.
For something different, Zip World is up the road in Bethesda. It's the zip line place.
You can walk or cycle from the cottage straight onto quiet lanes. There's a shop and a pub serving food about a mile and a half away.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
