Quarry Cottage is in Bethesda. It's a mid-terraced house, one of a row. It's not glamorous, but it's decent and roomy inside.
It sleeps six, with four bedrooms and one bathroom. There's enough space so you're not all on top of each other. It's got a 3 Star rating, so again, think comfortable and clean rather than luxurious. The stairs are a typical old cottage stair. You could store bikes in the outbuilding.
You can walk to the local shops, a couple of pubs, and cafes in a few minutes. It's handy not having to drive for milk. The pub down the road serves food.
The house is on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The Ogwen Valley is less than a mile away, which is where a lot of the good walks start. For climbing Snowdon, most people drive to Llanberis, which isn't far. Zip World is here in Bethesda too.
There's a traffic-free cycle path that starts in the town and goes towards Bangor. Bangor has the shops and Penrhyn Castle. If you fancy castles, Caernarfon and Conwy are about half an hour's drive. The Anglesey coast is also within reach.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. You can bring up to two dogs.
