Ysgubor

This is Ysgubor. It's a barn conversion on our farm in Braich talog, near Bangor. It's detached, so you're on your own. The views are good, you look out over the fields towards Anglesey.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, more practical than luxurious. It's a barn conversion, so the ceilings are high. The kitchen is big.

You should know it's a working farm. That means you'll see sheep, and occasionally you'll hear a tractor. It's quiet at night.

The local pub is about a mile's walk down the lane. They serve food. There's a shop and a restaurant a couple of miles away in the other direction.

For getting out, you're in a good spot. Bangor's just a few miles down the road if you need anything. The main thing nearby is Penrhyn Castle. It's National Trust, so the grounds are massive. Good for a walk and a cream tea.

If you're feeling adventurous, the world's longest zip wire is about two miles away at Penrhyn Quarry. You go quite fast. For beaches, you need to drive over to Anglesey. It's about half an hour to places like Newborough or Benllech. Llanberis and Snowdon are about a 30 minute drive south. Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno are a similar drive east.

The things it has: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Parking right outside. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets, sorry.
