Tyn Y Maen
Tyn Y Maen is our place in Seion. It's a white bungalow, detached, on a little lane. The main thing is the garden, it's big and enclosed. There's a patio with a BBQ too.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom inside. There's a separate outbuilding out the back with an extra shower and space for wet gear. Good for bikes or kayaks.
The living room has a big old fireplace with a log burner. It's cosy in the winter. Doors go straight out to the garden. The kitchen has what you need, a dishwasher and washing machine.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The bungalow layout is good if stairs are a problem.
You're about 15 minutes drive from Caernarfon. The castle is there, and shops and pubs. The Welsh Highland Railway starts there too, which is a nice way to see Snowdonia without driving.
For the beach, Dinas Dinlle is about 20 minutes away. It's sandy and has a good spot for food. Llanfairfechan is a similar distance the other way.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Walking and climbing routes are everywhere. Anglesey is a short drive over the bridge if you want to explore more coast.
Facilities: parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi and TV. You can bring up to three dogs. There's local fishing and a golf course not far.
It's just a solid, straightforward place. Good for a family or a group of friends who want to be out walking or at the beach most of the day.
