This is Yr Hen Weithdy, up in Llanllechid. It used to be a workshop for the Penrhyn Estate. We did it up properly a few years back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of them upstairs has a free-standing bath in it, which is a bit different. You can see the mountains from it. The two bedrooms downstairs have zip-and-link beds, so you can have them as twins or doubles.
The main room is all open plan: kitchen, dining, sitting area. There's a wood burner for cold evenings. The patio doors look out over the fields towards Anglesey. You're up quite high here, about a thousand feet. You can see Penrhyn Quarry in the distance.
It's quiet. You're in the Carneddau mountains, so it's good for walking straight from the door. For something louder, Zip World is a short drive away.
Bethesda is the nearest town for shops. Bangor is about fifteen minutes by car if you need more. The coast and the Menai Strait aren't far.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating, wifi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and a cot. No pets, sorry.
