Carreg Y Garth Isaf
This is Carreg Y Garth Isaf. It’s in Rhiwlas, just outside Bangor. It's a detached cottage on a smallholding, so you'll see sheep in the field next door, and the access track for the farm goes past the house. The views from up here are big. You look right out over Anglesey and get the sunset over the sea.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it works for a couple of families. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It feels like a family home.
The garden is all yours. It's lawned, and there's a covered hot tub at the bottom where you can sit and take in the view. Inside, there's a full-size pool table in one room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and there's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are provided. Parking is right there.
Bangor is about three miles away for shops. There's a restaurant half a mile down the road. For beaches, the Menai Strait coast is minutes away by car. You're right on the edge of Snowdonia for walking. National Trust Snowdonia has good information on the area. You can get to Zip World, castles like Caernarfon, and the Llanberis Railway within half an hour.
A few things to know. Because it's a hillside spot, it can feel a bit exposed if it's very windy. The track past the house is a farm access, so you might see a tractor. And no pets, sorry.
