Y Gorlan is ours. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level. Good if steps are a problem for you.
It's on our smallholding, up in the hills. The other cottage, Beudy Newydd, is nearby but you've got your own bit. The views from the front room and the garden are good. You look out over the fields and the hills. We're at about a thousand feet, so you get the weather up here. It can be breezy.
It sleeps two, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There's a washing machine, and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy for the dog. You can park right outside.
You're a five minute drive from the shop in the village. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. They do food.
For walking, you can pick up footpaths from the door. Aber Falls is a 15 minute drive away. The walk to the waterfall is popular and not too hard. Penrhyn Castle is about ten minutes by car. Bangor is about fifteen minutes if you need anything from a bigger town.
The coast is maybe twenty minutes drive. You can be on the Menai Strait or up at Beaumaris pretty quickly. For the big mountains, Snowdon is maybe half an hour away, depending on traffic.
If there are more of you, you can book Y Gorlan together with Beudy Newydd next door.
