Tan Y Fford is in Llandegfan on Anglesey. It's a detached cottage. The main thing is the view. You look right out over the Menai Strait to the mountains in Snowdonia. It’s a former fisherman's cottage, but it's been done up to a high standard.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. They all have those views and a door to a small balcony. The living area has patio doors that open onto a deck. You can sit out there and watch the boats.
There's a good pub about 50 yards away that does food. You can get down to the shore from there. For shops and more restaurants, you’d go to Menai Bridge or Beaumaris. They're both about two miles away. Beaumaris has the castle and boat trips. Menai Bridge has the famous suspension bridge.
For a proper beach day, you’ve got the east coast of Anglesey like Benllech, or head over to the west coast for Newborough. Both are within a 20-30 minute drive. The coastal path is all around the island for walking. If you want a day out, Snowdonia is right there across the bridge.
Facilities: It's got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
