Tan Y Fford is in Llandegfan on Anglesey. It's a detached cottage, right on the edge of the Menai Strait. The main thing is the view. You look straight across the water to Snowdonia.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. They all have those views, and doors you can open to a small balcony. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable.
There's a decked area outside with patio doors from the living space. You can sit there and watch the boats. The tide goes in and out quite a way here.
A pub is about 50 yards away. They do food. You can get down to the shore from there. For shops and more places to eat, you need to go to Menai Bridge or Beaumaris. Both are about two miles away, in opposite directions. Beaumaris has the castle and boat trips. Beaumaris.
You're on Anglesey, so the coast path is on your doorstep for walking. For a bigger beach, Newborough is about a 25 minute drive. The National Trust has a few places nearby too. Snowdonia is just over the bridge, maybe a 20 minute drive to the start of the park. Snowdonia National Park.
