Ty Glan Mor (The Beach House)
Ty Glan Mor is in Fryars Bay on Anglesey. It's right on the water's edge, literally. The patio wall meets the beach. At high tide, if it's windy, you'll hear the waves against the wall.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's all on one level, it's straightforward for most people. The main garden is next door at Blue Sails, but you have your own garden area too. It's a Scandinavian style lodge, so lots of pine. It feels light.
You see seals and porpoises sometimes. The view is directly across the Menai Strait to the Snowdonia mountains and Puffin Island. You can get on the beach from the garden.
Beaumaris is the main town nearby. It's a nice place with a good castle, places to eat, and boat trips to Puffin Island. It's about a ten minute drive. Bangor is eight miles.
There's a log burner for cooler nights, wifi, a washing machine, and parking. The bedding is included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
