This is Hawthorn. It's one of the apartments in Wern y Wylan Court, on Anglesey. That big country house was built a hundred odd years ago. You can see the sea from the front windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, but not modern luxury. The style is that old Arts and Crafts look, which is nice.
The garden and barbecue area are shared with a couple of the other apartments here. It's a decent space.
You're about half a mile from Red Wharf Bay. It's a sandy beach, good for a walk. The local pub is a mile away. There's a shop and a restaurant in Benllech, which is three miles.
You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so it's quiet countryside around you. For a day out, Beaumaris is close. It has the castle and some good places to eat. The Plas Newydd estate is nearby too. The whole coast path is worth walking.
If you want to drive further, Snowdonia is about half an hour away. The Snowdonia National Park website has information.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's parking. Wifi, TV, a dishwasher. We provide bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
