Beach Cottage is in Benllech on Anglesey. It's an upside down house, which means the living room and kitchen are upstairs to get the view. The bedrooms are on the ground floor.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's all been done to a high standard. It was completely renovated a couple of years ago. There's a balcony off the lounge now. You can see right over the beach to Puffin Island and, on a clear day, along to the Great Orme.
The beach is a couple of minutes walk. It's dog friendly. There's a private courtyard at the back, which is enclosed. Parking for two cars on site.
The stairs inside are a proper cottage staircase. They're not a problem, just worth noting. The ground floor patio has an outside tap, which is useful for rinsing off sand or dogs.
The village shop and a pub are about 200 yards away. There's a cafe right by the beach. For a longer walk, you can follow the coastal path to Red Wharf Bay. That's about a mile and a half. There are a couple of good pubs there for food.
If you want to drive, Beaumaris is about twenty minutes. The castle is there and Plas Newydd, which is a National Trust house. The drive around the island is good. Holyhead and the port are about half an hour away.
Facilities wise: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Highchair, cot and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. No smoking inside.
