Ty Newydd is in Llanddona on Anglesey. It’s a detached house, so you've got your own space. There’s a long driveway and the garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps when there’s a few of you. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and they share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The other two, including the main one, are upstairs.
The main bedroom has a balcony with a sea view. It also has a walk-in wardrobe and a big bathroom with a corner bath and a walk-in shower. There’s a baby grand piano in the living room. The stairs are normal.
Llanddona beach is just down the road. You can join the coastal path from there. There’s a local pub a short walk away. Beaumaris is about ten minutes by car. It has a castle, some nice places to eat, and you can get boat trips from there.
It's a good spot for getting around the island. You can drive to Penmon Point and the lighthouse. On a clear day you can see the Great Orme and sometimes the mountains of Snowdonia. Snowdonia itself is about a 45-minute drive, depending on where you're heading.
