This is Ty Newydd. It's a detached house in Llanddona on Anglesey. The name just means 'new house'. There's a big garden and a long driveway. You can see the sea from the front.
It's a five star place, which means it's well put together. It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom are downstairs. The main bedroom upstairs has a balcony looking out to sea, a walk-in wardrobe, and a big bathroom with a separate shower. The living area is open plan, good for a group. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
A couple of things to know. The stairs are normal house stairs, not too steep. There's a baby grand piano in the living room. If you can play, great. If not, it's just there. The conservatory gets the morning sun and is a good spot for breakfast.
You can bring up to four dogs. The garden is enclosed but not totally escape-proof for a very determined dog. There's plenty of parking.
Llanddona has a good beach, it's sandy and rarely busy. The coastal path runs right past the end of the road. The local pub is about a ten minute walk. Beaumaris is the main town nearby, it's about a ten minute drive. It has a castle, some decent places to eat, and you can get boat trips from there.
For a day out, you're about half an hour from the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The drive over the Menai Bridge is nice. For local heritage sites, the National Trust and Visit Wales sites have good information.
In the house you've got wifi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
