Seaview Cottage

Seaview Cottage is in Tynygongl on Anglesey. It's a stone barn conversion, detached, with its own garden. The main thing is the view. You get fields, the sea, and the mountains of Snowdonia. You can see why they called it Seaview.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms downstairs, one double and one with three single beds. One bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard.

The layout is upside down to make the most of the view. You live upstairs. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open plan on the first floor. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Doors lead out to a big patio up there.

Downstairs is just the bedrooms and the bathroom. The stairs are fine, typical cottage stairs. The entrance and the downstairs rooms are all on one level if wheelchair access is needed to get in.

The cottage is on a quiet country lane between Tyn-y-Gongl and Marianglas. You can walk to Benllech village in about 15-20 minutes. They've got shops, cafes, and a few places to eat. The beach at Benllech is sandy and good for families.

A public footpath runs right by the property and connects to the coastal path at Traeth Bychan, which is a smaller, quieter beach. You can start walks from the door. Moelfre is a short drive away, a nice fishing village.

For days out, Beaumaris is about a 25-minute drive. The castle and the gaol are worth a visit. The drive around the east coast to places like Penmon Point is good. You're also about half an hour from the Menai Bridge and the mainland. Snowdonia is within a 30-minute drive for the mountains.

Facilities: it's got the usual things. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. No pets. There's underfloor heating and a shower over the bath.
