This place is called Eryri. It's one of three cottages converted from an old school, near Caernarfon. You can see the town from here. It's about a ten minute walk to the castle.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two.
Inside, it's got WiFi, a washing machine, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We put up a Christmas tree in December. There's parking right outside.
Caernarfon itself is good for a wander. The castle is the main thing, obviously. The rest of the town has shops and places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, you'd drive.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Snowdon is about a twenty minute drive to Llanberis. You can get the mountain railway up from there if you don't fancy the walk. The slate museum in Llanberis is interesting if the weather turns.
The Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey are both within half an hour by car. There are beaches that way. The coast path is accessible from here too.
If you're looking for activity days, Zip World is maybe forty minutes away. There are several local golf courses.
