Glanrafon Isaf
It's called Glanrafon Isaf. It's a converted barn near Llanfaglan, with an annexe attached so it can sleep a lot of people. The river runs right by the garden.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable, everything works, it's modern. You get a big open kitchen and living area for everyone to be together. There's a big deck outside for a barbecue if the weather's good.
The property is on the river, so you can fish from the bank if you want. You can walk along it too. It's quiet out here.
Caernarfon is about ten minutes away by car. You've got the castle, obviously. The Welsh Highland Railway goes from there up into the mountains. For a wet day, the Galeri arts centre has a cinema and a cafe.
Snowdon is about twenty minutes drive. You can walk it or get the train up from Llanberis. Anglesey is fifteen minutes the other way. There are beaches there, like Newborough, and Beaumaris has another castle.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog. There's plenty of parking.
