Ty Mawr 2
This is Ty Mawr 2 in Talysarn. It's one half of a semi-detached cottage. A proper one-bedroom place, just for two people.
It's got a four star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything is on one level except the bedroom, which is upstairs. The doorways and layout are good if you use a wheelchair, though there are a couple of small steps outside.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen's at one end, then the living space, then the shower room. The bedroom upstairs is a decent size with a double bed. You get all your bedding and towels.
Outside, you've got your own parking spot. The view is over fields and towards the hills.
You can walk straight from the door into the countryside. The coast at Dinas Dinlle is about ten minutes in the car. For a bigger town, Caernarfon is close. It's got the castle, shops, and the start of the Welsh Highland Railway.
If you want to go up Snowdon, one of the paths starts at Rhyd Ddu. That's a short drive east through the Nantlle Valley. You can also get the Welsh Highland Railway from there into the national park.
The Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey are both within half an hour if you fancy exploring.
It's got WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. No pets, I'm afraid. You can rent it together with Ty Mawr 1 next door if you're a group of four.
