Hyfrydle Cottage
Hyfrydle Cottage is in Talysarn, just outside Caernarfon. It's set back from the main road so it's quiet, and the garden is enclosed with a gate. You get a view of fields and the hills from the front.
It’s a 4 Star, so it’s comfortable. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms. Good point: both bedrooms have their own bathroom. One has a walk-in shower. There’s a wood burner in the living room. It works well.
The stairs are cottage stairs. They’re steep. There’s a stairgate at the top because of that.
You can take up to three dogs. The garden is secure for them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You’re in a good spot here. For the beach, Dinas Dinlle is about five miles. Caernarfon is twenty minutes away. The castle is the main thing, but there are shops and places to eat. The Welsh Highland Railway starts there.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia. For walking, you can be up in the mountains in fifteen minutes. National Trust Snowdonia has details on their sites. Pant Du Vineyard is a mile up the road if you fancy a local wine.
