Golan
This is our cottage, Golan. It's in Clynnog-fawr, on the Llyn peninsula. A semi-detached stone cottage. A few minutes' walk to the local beach, which is pebbly.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Downstairs is all one big room, kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. There's a wood burner for colder days and the original slate floor you'd expect. The stairs are cottage stairs, so a bit steep.
The garden is enclosed and a decent size. Good if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking for a couple of cars on the drive.
You're well placed here. The Llŷn Coastal Path is right on the doorstep for walking. Dinas Dinlle beach, which has the Blue Flag, is about ten minutes' drive. For a pint right on the sand, the Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen is famous, but it gets busy. That's about a twenty minute drive.
Caernarfon and its castle are about twenty minutes away. Snowdonia National Park starts not far from here. Pwllheli and Criccieth are both within half an hour. Glasfryn Park, which has go-karting and activities, is about twenty five minutes away.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if needed. We take up to two dogs. The kids' play area is shared with some other cottages nearby.
