Stables

Right, so The Stables. It's a cottage in Clynnog Fawr. The village itself is small, it's got a pub, the Tŷ Newydd, a shop, and a very old church. It's quiet.

The cottage is detached, it's a converted stone stable. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's all on the ground floor, which is useful. Living room, kitchen and dining area are all one space. There's a wood burner for cooler nights.

One of the bedrooms has a view of the sea. It's a glimpse between the fields, but it's there. The garden out the back is enclosed, there's a patio area with a table and a BBQ.

You can walk down to the beach from here in a few minutes. It's a mix of pebble and sand. For a bigger sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is about a ten minute drive down the coast.

You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The mountains are about a 20 minute drive inland, around Llanberis. The Llyn Peninsula coast path runs past here if you want a walk.

Caernarfon is fifteen minutes east. You've got the castle there, and plenty of shops. Heading the other way, along the peninsula, you've got Nefyn and the beach at Porthdinllaen with the Ty Coch pub right on the sand.

For a day out, the Welsh Highland Railway runs from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. Glasfryn Park, about 20 minutes away, has activities like go-karting and kayaking if you've got kids to entertain.

In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them.
