Rhandir-Mwyn is on the edge of Pontllyfni. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. You've got your own bit of garden and then there are eight acres around you, mostly fields. The view from the front is across to Anglesey and the sea. From the back, you're looking at the mountains.
It sleeps six people, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything you'd expect is here: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. There's parking right outside.
The nearest beach is about a mile down the lane. It's a shingle beach, good for a walk or a paddle. For a bigger sand beach, you'd drive to Dinas Dinlle or up towards Criccieth.
There's a shop and a post office in Pen y Groes, about two miles away. The pubs in Clynnog, a couple of miles the other way, do food. Caernarfon is six miles. That's where you'll find the big castle, supermarkets, and a leisure centre. The castle is worth a visit, it's a World Heritage site.
Being here, you're right between the coast and Snowdonia. You can be walking in the foothills in ten minutes or on a beach in five. The Snowdonia National Park website is good for planning walks. For local history, Cadw looks after the castles. Anglesey is a twenty-minute drive over the bridge.
The property allows up to two dogs. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. All bedding is included.
