Isallt
This is Isallt. It's our cottage in Nantlle, which is in Snowdonia. It's a terraced house in a small village. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The main thing is the view. Out the back, you look straight over the lake to the mountains. It's really good. You've got a private, enclosed patio area out there to sit and have a coffee.
The house has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and warm. There's a woodburning stove for evenings. We've put in a dishwasher and there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's also a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shed for bike storage if you're cycling.
Location wise, you're in the Snowdonia National Park. You can walk from the door. There's a path right around the lake, or you can head up into the hills. If you want to fish, you can do it on the lake.
The nearest shop is about three miles away, and a pub or restaurant is about four. For a beach, Dinas Dinlle is fifteen minutes down the road. Beddgelert is about twenty minutes' drive, and Porthmadog, with Portmeirion, is maybe half an hour. The main paths up Snowdon are within a thirty minute drive.
