Tryfan
This is Tryfan. It's the ground floor apartment in a converted woollen mill near Penygroes. We live on-site, in the main part of the mill. The apartment looks out towards the River Llyfni and the woods. It's quiet here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living space is open plan, so it feels quite spacious. There's an interconnecting door to the apartment next door, Snowdon, if you're booking with another group.
You've got a patio area with furniture. Parking is right outside. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take up to two dogs.
The nearest shop is about three and a half miles away in Penygroes village. The closest pub is six miles. For a restaurant, you're looking at ten miles or so. It's a rural spot, so you'll need a car.
You can walk from the door along the river or into the woods. A good sandy beach, like Dinas Dinlle, is about a fifteen minute drive. Caernarfon with the castle is twenty minutes away. The Welsh Highland Railway starts in Caernarfon too.
For Snowdonia, you're right on the edge of it. It's about a twenty minute drive to the start of some proper mountain paths. Zip World in Bethesda is half an hour away. The Llyn Peninsula coastline is about the same drive time.
