Dyserth

Dyserth is a stone cottage in Aberdesach, on the Gwynedd coast. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. You get the house and the enclosed garden to yourselves. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. There's a woodburning stove in the living room.

The beach is right there. It's a mix of sand and pebbles, less than a minute's walk from the front door. You can see it from the upstairs windows.

The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are normal house stairs, not too steep. We allow up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive.

For supplies, there's a village shop a mile away. The nearest pub serving food is about four miles. Caernarfon is eight miles. It has a big castle, shops, and the Welsh Highland Railway. You can get the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway from there into the mountains.

You're on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. It's about a 20 minute drive to the proper mountains for walking. The coastline around here is good for cycling if you bring bikes.

In the house you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden has a patio area and a barbecue.
