Chapel Cottage

Chapel Cottage is in Clynnog fawr, on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a stone cottage, converted from what was the village chapel. It sleeps eight, but only has three bedrooms, so two are quite large and fitted with multiple beds. There is one bathroom.

It's a 4 Star property. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not luxury. The main room is big, with sofas for everyone and a wood burner. The views from the front windows are out to sea. You can see Anglesey across the water.

Outside is a small courtyard garden. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids. You can park right outside.

The beach is a few minutes' walk down the lane. It's not a huge sandy beach, more pebbly and rocky, but it's quiet. For a proper sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is about a ten minute drive south. It's a Blue Flag beach. Visit Wales has good information on the Llŷn area.

You're well placed here. Caernarfon Castle is about 20 minutes' drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and countryside nearby. Snowdonia is a 30 minute drive for the mountains. The town of Pwllheli is 20 minutes away for bigger shops.

Facilities are all included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are provided. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
