The Yard Beach Cottage is in Aberdesach, on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula. It's two minutes from a pebble beach. The sunsets from there are very good.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The living area is open plan with a woodburning stove. There's a TV and WiFi. The garden is enclosed but it's a shared courtyard style, so other people walk through it, including the owner's dog sometimes. You can sit out there though.
The village is quiet. For a shop you need to drive about four miles to Penygroes. You'll need a car.
You're well placed for exploring. Caernarfon Castle is about a twenty minute drive. The beach at Dinas Dinlle is ten minutes away, with good views across to Anglesey.
For mountains, Llanberis is twenty-five minutes. That's where the main path up Snowdon starts, and the mountain railway. You can hire kayaks on Llyn Padarn there too.
The whole coast is nearby for walking. The main towns like Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog are all within half an hour. The Welsh Highland Railway is at Porthmadog.
If you want activities, Glasfryn Park has go-karting and things like that, about twenty minutes inland.
