The Yard Beach Cottage
The Yard Beach Cottage is in Aberdesach. It's a terrace cottage, one of a few around a shared yard. You get the little garden to yourselves out the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you need and is well looked after. The stairs are a bit steep, but they're fine if you take your time.
The beach is two minutes walk down the lane. It's a pebble beach, good for a paddle. The sunsets from there can be really good.
You'll need a car for shopping. Penygroes has a shop about four miles away. Caernarfon is ten minutes up the road for supermarkets. The castle there is worth a visit: Caernarfon Castle.
You're in a good spot for getting around. Snowdonia is about twenty five minutes drive to Llanberis. You can walk up Snowdon from there or get the train, but you need to book it. The coastline here is all good. Dinas Dinlle beach is ten minutes south. The whole Snowdonia National Park is on your doorstep.
Facilities: there's a woodburner, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid, but you might see the owner's dog around the shared yard now and then.
