Bwthyn Meulan is in Llandwrog, near Caernarfon in North Wales. It's a detached barn conversion on our property. You get your own fully enclosed garden and patio.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. It's all on one level and the doorways are wide, so it's good if you have someone with limited mobility. The main living area is open plan.
The garden has a patio, a barbecue, and a hot tub. You get a view from there over the fields to the sea, and you can see the mountains of Snowdonia in the other direction.
The beach is about a mile away. It's a good sandy beach. Caernarfon is six miles away. The castle there is the main thing to see. There's a small railway there that goes to Porthmadog.
From here, you're well placed for a lot. The National Trust has plenty of walks nearby. For the mountains, the Snowdonia National Park site is useful. Anglesey is about a twenty minute drive over the bridge. Llanberis, for the Snowdon mountain railway or the slate museum, is under half an hour.
As for facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair. There's wood for the stove. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right next to the cottage.
If you book over Christmas, we put up a tree and some decorations.
