Ty Macsen is in Bethesda Bach, near Caernarfon, North Wales. It's a small, single-storey barn conversion, right on the edge of the Foryd Bay estuary. It's for two people.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It's rated 5 Star, which in practical terms means it's well-equipped, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. There's an electric vehicle charger.
You get a private, enclosed garden area at the front. It looks out over the fields and the water. It's a very quiet spot. Because it's a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an RSPB reserve, you see a lot of birds out there, especially lapwings.
The Wales Coast Path runs right past the door. A two-minute walk along that path brings you to a pebble and sand beach.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's no extra charge.
Location-wise, Caernarfon is about ten minutes away by car. You've got the castle there, shops, and places to eat. The Welsh Highland Railway starts there too, if you fancy a train ride into Snowdonia.
Snowdonia National Park starts a few minutes up the road. The base of Yr Wyddfa, Snowdon, is about a twenty-minute drive. Zip World is also within a thirty-minute drive if you want that sort of thing.
