Snowdon is a garden apartment in Penygroes, North Wales. It's on the ground floor of an old woollen mill. I live on site in the main part of the mill.
The apartment sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and clean. The main living area is open plan.
It looks out over woodland and the River Llyfni. It's very quiet here. You get your own parking space.
There's an interconnecting door inside to another apartment, Tryfan. That's handy if you're coming as a larger group and want to book both.
The location is good for getting about. You're right on the edge of Snowdonia. The coast and sandy beaches are about a twenty minute drive. Caernarfon is close, about fifteen minutes by car. The castle is worth a visit. The Welsh Highland Railway starts from there too, for trips into the mountains.
For walking, you can start right from the door. For something bigger, Zip World is about half an hour away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included, and there's satellite TV and WiFi. You can bring up to two dogs. There's fishing nearby if you're into that.
